It is not mean only for programmer, it is for everyone. moonOS now has its own page on DistroWatch this mean moonOS project has been included on the official list of Linux distributions.
If you are not familiar with DistroWatch, you should definitely take a look. Introduction
This is moonOS LXDE Edition 2 , codename Kachana, based on moonOS Main Edition 2, Linux 2.6.27-11, LXDE 0.3.2.1 and Xorg 7.4, moonOS LXDE Edition 2 “Kachana” comes with a new tool “moonDomain”, “moonGrub”, “moonMetacity” “moonUpgrader” and a lot of other improvements.
